Your excursion begins with a drive around the city's notable sights, including the Feather Market Centre, the Old Post Office and the Donkin Reserve Pyramid and Lighthouse. You'll also pause at the 'Native Strangers location', before touring several deprived and undeveloped townships, as well as some middle-class areas – all home to the city's diverse population.
Drive to Livingstone Hospital/ Luthuli Square with a brief stop and explanation from your local guide. Drive further via Govan Mbeki to the middle-class area of Kwa Makgxaki, stop at a viewpoint for a photo opportunity. From KwaMagxaki lookout spot we'll stop at flamingo lake area/marine salt dunes in Perseverance area for picture taking inside the bus
En route to your next stop, you'll see Emlotheni Memorial Park - dedicated to the memory of six anti-apartheid activists and a poignant reminder of the city's turbulent past.
