Take adventure to the max with a full day of exciting activities. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and insect repellent. And don't forget your camera-you'll want to record every moment of the day's action.

From the pier you'll travel north to the Daintree Rainforest. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this natural wonder is the last remnant of the oldest surviving rainforest in the world. Around 3,000 plant species and some of Australia's rarest wildlife species call this lush environment their home.

As the coach weaves its way towards the Daintree River, you'll have breathtaking views of picturesque mountains and sprawling cane fields right outside your window. En route, you'll enjoy a photo stop at Mount Alexandra Lookout. From this breathtaking vantage point you can see the coast, the mouth of the Daintree River, Snapper Island and Low Isles.

Back on the coach, you'll wind along the coastal road, where you can see the Coral Sea, a vast area of ocean adjacent to the world-renowned Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Noted as one of the last places on Earth where large marine animals can still be found in great numbers, ocean giants such as sharks, tunas, whales, dolphins and marlin abound in these waters.

Your next adventure takes you to the Daintree River and a cruise in search of crocodiles. This leisurely one-hour journey is the perfect setting for photos, too. Mangroves, birds, pythons and saltwater crocodiles are all picture-worthy, as well as the picturesque mountain views.

By now, you've probably worked up quite an appetite so next on your agenda is a satisfying lunch at a nearby restaurant. Relax while you enjoy some local fare and mingle with fellow passengers.

Back on the coach, you'll head over to the Cape Tribulation area of the Daintree National Park. Stretching out over 42,000 acres the area is known for its interesting terrain: mountains, rivers, beaches and two of Australia's most significant UNESCO World Heritage Sites that are valued for their exceptional beauty and biological diversity-the Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics. Witness the beauty for yourself with a stop at one of the area's finest beaches.

On the return towards Port Douglas, explore the Daintree Rainforest, where you'll follow your friendly and knowledgeable guide into the 135-million-year-old woods. As you ooh and ahh over the verdant greenery, exotic flowers and peaceful setting, you'll follow your guide on a trail through the Jindalba Boardwalk. Shady and lush, the rainforest trail meanders around the cool river far beneath a towering canopy of palms and ferns. Have your camera handy. Hiding among the verdant vegetation are some of Australia's most interesting species of wildlife. Sightings of birds, lizards and insects hidden in the rainforest foliage are common.

Finally, you'll return to your ship, the perfect end to a perfect day with a camera filled with memories.
