This delightful sightseeing tour is a special treat for passengers who appreciate nature and traditional crafts. Your exciting half-day excursion begins with a warm welcome from your driver and guide, followed by a scenic journey through George Town-the enchanting capital city of Penang, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008. Enjoy views of charming residential areas and colonial-era villas on the outskirts of town as you make your way to the magical Penang Botanic Gardens. Established by the British in 1884, the gardens are home to a wide variety of native plants, including cacti, ferns, bamboo, flowering trees, and lush shrubs. You may also spot the garden's lively long-tailed macaques during your visit.
Your tour then continues north toward Batu Feringhi, one of Asia's most beautiful beaches, offering a scenic coastal drive before arriving at a local batik factory. Here, you will enjoy an engaging demonstration of this traditional art form.
Next, proceed to Entopia by Penang Butterfly Farm, where you can explore its impressive aviary that hosts over 100 species of live butterflies as well as beautifully landscaped gardens. Before returning to the pier, make a brief stop along the coast for a photo opportunity with the iconic Penang Bridge.
