Nihondaira Park Outlook, a prefecture natural park, is the perfect spot to take in views of Suruga Bay, emerald fields of flowers and tea, and magnificent Mt. Fuji when the weather is clear.
Kunozan Toshogu Shrine (via aerial tram)
A climb of 1,000 stone steps is the traditional approach to the shrine, but the addition of the ropeway has made it accessible to many more visitors. Dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu (1543-1616), the famous leader credited with bringing peace and unity to Japan after a long period of civil war, the picturesque shrine complex showcases an extensive collection of vermilion buildings ornately decorated and constructed in the Shinto shrine style of architecture. Shaden, the main building, is a striking wooden complex that is comprised of three sections, Honden Main Hall, Ishinoma Interconnecting Hall, and Haiden Worship Hall. All three are architecturally diverse and elaborately decorated. Kunozan Toshogu Shrine is a designated cultural landmark.

This shopping mall boasts 70 souvenir shops and sells local products such as seafood and tea. It is managed by fishing boat owners, fish brokers, wholesalers, fish processing companies, tea manufacturers, etc. You can find fresh seafood such as tuna, bonito, and dried or processed fish.
