Step inside Churaumi Aquarium's, one of the world's largest aquariums, and you'll be astounded by its amazing menagerie of aquatic creatures large and small. A Japanese-speaking guide will lead will you around the aquarium's four floors of deep sea creatures, sharks, coral and tropical fish. Among the displays is the "Deep Sea" where you can observe deep sea creatures like flame snappers, black snoek, and luminescent shrimp that live 656 feet to 2,296 feet below the ocean surface. The highlight of your visit may be the massive Kuroshio Tank, which contains almost two million gallons of water and a massive 26-foot high and 72-foot-wide acrylic glass panel that offers views of 80 different species gliding through the water including yellow-fin tuna, whale sharks and manta rays. The aquarium also displays more than 80 species of colorful coral, a touch tank and dolphin show.
