The past and present cultural wonders of Naha are on full display during this day-long tour that takes you around Okinawa. First, it's on to Okinawa World, a theme park centered on Okinawan history and culture. When you arrive, you'll enter through Gyokusendo Cave, famed for its spectacular stalactites and stalagmites. Once out of the cave, you'll see the park's main attractions: a replica of a Ryukyu village then delight in demonstrations and shops featuring traditional crafts. If time allows, you can also watch a traditional "eisa" performance, with impressive drumming and dancing. Then, it's on to nearby Kokusai Street, a chic shopping area considered the heart of Naha and a popular destination for shopping, strolling and people watching. Here, you'll have time to browse the cosmopolitan boutiques, department stores and souvenir shops or stop in a soba shop and purchase a dish of Okinawa noodles.
