Sit back and soak up the scenery as you ride towards the Nos viewpoint, where the views over the Nordfjord region are even more magnificent, from over 1,600 feet above sea level.
Continuing along the beautiful fjords and soaring mountains, you'll pass Olden en route to the emerald hues of Olden Lake for a photograph stop.
Upon reaching Briksdal, you'll board your Troll Car, which will drop you just a short walk away from the spectacular Briksdal Glacier. This blue giant is part of the Jostedal Glacier Icefield – the largest glacier on the European mainland. Flowing 4,000 feet down the mountainside, it's also one of Europe's most spectacular.
Back at the picturesque Briksdal Inn, you'll enjoy lunch and some souvenir shopping, before returning to Nordfjordeid past beautiful Hornidal Lake – Europe's deepest.

Special Notes
The walk to the Glacier from the troll cars will take approximately 15 minutes over some steep, uneven terrain. The troll cars are not covered and will operate in the event of rain. Please wear comfortable, enclosed walking shoes and carry a bottle of water and a warm jacket. Please heed the warning signs erected near the Glacier and do not venture beyond the safety barriers. The Glacier is not visible from the refreshment venue. This tour involves tunnels.
