まずは岩室温泉を訪問します。伝説によると、この温泉の効用は300年以上前、夢のお告げどおりにこの地を探すと、ケガをした雁（ガン）が泉流に浴して怪我を癒していたことから、源泉を発見したと言われています。それ以来、この静かな隠れ温泉郷はリラックスに最高の癒しの場として親しまれています。お湯と和食ランチを楽しんだ後は、天香山命（あめのかぐやまのみこと）に捧げられた彌彦神社を訪れます。最後の訪問場所は、しろね大凧と歴史の館です。日本の凧の科学的側面に加え、毎年白根で開催される世界最大級の凧合戦の伝説と歴史も紹介しています。

For centuries, the Japanese have enjoyed the health and socializing benefits of the hot springs bath known as onsens. This activity is so popular that the country is dotted with thousands of onsens and one of the most popular is Iwamuro Onsen. According to legend, the benefits of its waters were discovered after a wounded goose bathed in its waters to heal it's wounds more than 300 years ago. Since then, visitors have found this quiet retreat a soothing place to unwind. After enjoying a Japanese lunch, you'll journey to the Yahiko Shrine, dedicated to the Amanokagoyama-no-mikoto diety. Your last stop of the day is the Shirone Kite Museum, which showcases the science behind Japanese kites including the lore and history of the world's largest kite battle that takes place in the town of Shirone every year. After this day of relaxation and fun, you'll return to your ship.
