Sea Lion Encounter
A Sea Lion Encounter is a unique opportunity to interact with these intelligent yet comical creatures. Meet the sea lion trainers for an interactive orientation at the American Humane Certified facility at Blue Lagoon Island. Stand on a platform in waist-deep water in their natural marine habitat and delight in the antics of the resident sea lions, friendly and affectionate marine mammals. Learn about their powerful swimming skills, diet and other interesting facts from your specialist guides.
What you will see along the way:
The trip to Blue Lagoon Island is an attraction in itself. Cruise by ferry through Nassau's historic harbor and take in picturesque views of its shoreline, studded with luxury homes and resorts. You'll pass Paradise Island and pretty nearby islets as you glide through the turquoise waters under a sunny sky. Coconut trees and a crystalline lagoon beckon as you approach Blue Lagoon Island.

Minimum age allowed is 8 years old. Minimum height allowed is 48 inches. Pregnant women are not allowed in this program. This program is not suitable for persons with disabilites.
Blue Lagoon Island Accessibility & Safety Notice
For the safety of all guests, please note the following:
· No wheelchairs, scooters, or oxygen support devices are permitted on boats or the island.
· Guests using canes or walkers must be accompanied by an able-bodied companion and must be able to board/disembark independently.
· Deaf guests must travel with an interpreter.
· Blind guests cannot be accommodated at this time.
By booking, guests confirm they are fit to travel and will follow all safety instructions from staff and crew.
