What you will visit:

Pompeii
The eruption of Vesuvius in 79 A.D. was a monumental natural disaster that killed thousands and entombed the city of Pompeii. A visit to this UNESCO World Heritage Site is an opportunity to view a moment in time preserved for more than 2,000 years in this lost city buried deep beneath the ash. Walk among the ruins that, in exquisite detail, paint a picture of daily Roman life. Known as a vacation community for high society, some of the ruins are remarkably preserved, with elaborately detailed mosaics and colorful frescoes decorating the interiors of wealthy homeowners' villas.

Sorrento (on your own)
The coastal town of Sorrento overlooks the Bay of Naples. Explore the cobblestone side streets and public squares, such as Piazza Tasso and Piazza Antiche Mura with its lively atmosphere. Sorrento is a prime place for shoppers and ambience seekers alike. The bustling Corso Italia, a flower-lined main boulevard, showcases charming cafes and designer boutiques. Stroll down to the picture-perfect Sorrento pier and take in the fresh sea breezes or go beachcombing along the rocky shoreline.

What you will see along the way:

Tastings:

This unique location also offers also a great variety of Sorrentine specialities, such as pasta, tomato sauce, olive oil, biscuits, candies or traditional ceramics and home-made sandals. Your local tour will end with learning the art of mozzarella-making and samples of the fresh white cheese with salami, wine and mineral water.
