What you will visit:

Naples (driving tour)
Naples has a rich history dating back more than 2,800 years. It's a city that can be overwhelming at first sight, but once you adjust your perspective, you'll fall in love with its distinctively southern Italian culture-from the castles, churches and museums to the origins of the pizza pie. A tour of Naples' historic city center is an education in ancient architecture from medieval times, the Renaissance age, and the baroque period. You'll take in the hustle and bustle of Naples from the comfort of an air-conditioned motorcoach, complete with a knowledgeable tour guide narrating the way.

What you will see along the way:
Your three-hour driving tour takes you through the historic city center past Naples' marvelous old architecture and public squares, including Via Marina, Piazza Garibaldi and Piazza Carlo III. See Palazzo Municipale, home to the Castle Nuovo and the Naples National Archaeological Museum on Via Foria. Drive along the waterfront, notice the site where Naples was first founded: Castel dell'Ovo, or "egg castle" and up to Posillipo Hill, from where there will be a wonderful view of the Gulf of Naples from the top.

Photo Opportunity:
Have your camera at the ready as you head toward the sea and stop for a photo opportunity at a viewpoint on posh Posillipo Hill, overlooking the Gulf of Naples. Here, take in the panoramic views, where many postcard shots have been taken.

Snack:
Pause for a beverage or an ice cream at a local chalet during your day.
