WHAT YOU VISIT
Mykonian Cooking Lessons-A Small Group Tour
This immersive culinary experience in Mykonos goes beyond cooking, it's a heartfelt connection to the island's rich culture, traditions, and way of life. After being greeted at the charming cooking venue, your English-speaking escort will translate the cook's instructions while your welcome drink. Then, you'll roll up your sleeves and prepare a menu of beloved Mykonian appetizers, a main course and dessert, all paired with carefully selected red and white wines.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
Once the cooking is complete you'll step out onto the veranda for photogenic views of Mykonos and the shimmering blue Aegean Sea.
LUNCH
After your cooking lesson, you'll sit down with your fellow passengers and enjoy the feast you've created beginning with "strapatsada," a traditional Greek dish of soft scrambled eggs cooked with fresh tomatoes and olive oil, often topped with feta cheese; "horiatiki," a Greek salad of fresh tomatoes, cucumber, onion, olives, and feta cheese and "tzatziki," the classic Greek yogurt dip. A highlight of the meal is traditional "souvlaki," a seasoned blend of ground meat infused with aromatic spices. For dessert, you'll enjoy your handmade "loukoumades," golden, fluffy doughnuts drizzled with honey and sprinkled with cinnamon.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
The venue is just steps from the "Chora" with panoramic views of the iconic Mykonos Windmills perched high on the hill.
