WHAT YOU VISIT
St. Blaize Hiking Trail
Located just south of the pier, the popular trail runs along the cliffs between the Cape St. Blaize Lighthouse and Dana Bay. Once you've laced up your hiking boots, you will board your transportation for a short drive to the hiking trail. You will set out on your 3.5 kms(roughly 2.2 miles) hike, see and smell the ocean as you amble along a variety of terrain-flat, sandy paths; mild climbs and rocky sections. After your hike you'll be treated to light refresh-ments at one of the local restaurants situated close to the trail.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
In addition to dramatic sea views, the trail is an excellent lookout point for whale and dolphin watching (in season) and dassies, a small, furry, native mammal often seen basking on rocks. Throughout the year, you'll find a variety of colorful native blooms along the mostly open, treeless coastal path.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
In the middle of the trail you'll find the Pinnacle Point Golf Course with little guard houses on each side. A quick check-in/out sets you on your merry way, running around well manicured greens and tee boxes. Just watch out for flying golf balls!

Special Notes
Surfaces are uneven, sandy, rocky, gravel. Good hiking shoes are required, sunhat, sunglasses, appropriate clothing, sunblock. Minimum age to par-ticipate is 10. The trail is quite exposed to the elements so carry water, and exercise caution in wet weather, high winds, and mist. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
