Your half-day excursion begins at the pier where you'll board your four-wheel-drive vehicle and head through the lush Paopao Valley, passing by acres of pineapple plantations. Next you'll cross the Paopao Opunohu trail and head up to the summit of Mt. Rotui and Belvedere Lookout for some of the most spectacular views in the South Pacific, panoramas of Cook's Bay and Opunohu Bay.

Return to the interior trails of the Rural College of Opunohu, passing though towering bamboo groves and verdant plantations growing grapefruit, papaya and vanilla.

Drive to the Moorea Fruit Juice Factory and enjoy juice from local papaya, grapefruit, pineapple and other tropical island fruits. They also produce an assortment of 10- to 40-proof fruit brandies, including star fruit, ginger and papaya, as well as 25-proof liqueurs made from coconut, ginger and pineapple. You'll have time to visit the gift shop for island souvenirs and gifts before returning to the pier and your cruise ship.
