What you will visit:
Molde Panoramic Drive
Gaze out the window onto Molde, a charming fjord town established in the 15th century, with wonderful local color and picturesque views of 222 mountain peaks. Much of the city's architecture is modern, including the Aker football stadium and the dramatic glass Scandic Seilet Hotel. But there are quaint squares and historic buildings, including the Molde Cathedral, as well. Nicknamed the Town of Roses, Molde's charms are as plentiful as the fragrant gardens that bloom throughout the city.

Trollstigen, The Troll Path
Trollstigen is one of Norway's most exciting driving experiences. Trollstigen, 'The Troll's Path,' is a gravity-defying road with a 12% gradient and 11 heart-stopping, hairpin turns that leads to Isterdal. Here, you'll view the famed Troll Wall, the highest vertical rock face in Europe.

What you will see along the way:
Settle in for a panoramic drive that makes the most of the Nordic atmosphere of Molde and its environs. After seeing the city sights, hop on a ferry to Vestnes on the far side of the fjord. Continue by motorcoach up the Skorgedalen Valley, passing a series of small towns and hugging the fjord. See Liabygda on your way to Valldal, known for its strawberry fields and 18th century octagonal Stordal Church. Travel across a mountain plateau, pause to photograph at Gudbrandsjuvet Gorge, then proceed to Trollstigheimen nestled in the Trolltindene Mountains. Continue to Afarnes for a quick ferry ride to Sølsnes. An underwater tunnel returns you to Molde.

Photo Opportunities:
Trollveggen, The Troll Wall
The 'Troll Wall,' or Trollveggen, is the tallest vertical rock face in Europe. This 915-meter cliff was first climbed in 1958 and today remains a popular destination for climbing enthusiasts from all over the world.

Gudbrandsjuvet Gorge
Gudbrandsjuvet is a 25-meter (82-foot) high, 5-meter (16-foot) narrow ravine through which the Valldøla River flows. Over time, the waters have carved deep pools and intricate rock formations. A viewing platform allows for safe but dramatic photographs.

Lunch:
The Trollstigheimen Guest House is your host for a lovely buffet lunch with hot and cold dishes, tempting desserts, coffee or tea, and one non-alcoholic beverage.
