Scenic Romsdal Valley & the Rauma Railway
Sit back and enjoy the views from your seat aboard the Rauma Railway, acclaimed as one of Norway's most scenic routes. Once aboard, the train will make its way through the cinematic Romsdalen Valley. From the train's large windows you can see the Rauma River, Romsdalshorn Mountain on your left and Trolltindane Mountain on your right.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
A photo stop at the famous Troll Wall ensures lifelong memories. Not only is it the tallest vertical rock face in Europe at about 1,900 meters (3,600 feet) from the base to the summit, it's also the steepest – the summit overhangs the base by nearly 48 meters (160 feet).
LUNCH
Upon arrival at the Bjorli station you'll transfer to a bus and drive down one of Norway's most beautiful valleys with impressive peaks rising straight up from the valley floor to the Trollstigen Guesthouse for a tasty buffet lunch.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Among the 32 bridges you'll cross, the Kylling Bridge boasts dramatic views down into the canyon with the foaming river at the bottom.
