Maehama Beach
Considered one of Japan's best beaches, this stunning 4.3-mile (7-kilometer) stretch of soft white sand on the southwestern corner of Miyako Island offers a magnificent view of the glistening seas and the Kurima Ohashi Bridge. Perfect for swimming and watersports, the crystal-clear waters are also the starting point of the All Japan Triathlon Miyakojima.
What you will see along the way:
Sugarcane fronds wave gently in the breeze of this lush subtropical island. The limestone rocks meet powder-soft white-sand beaches on the chain of islands that for good reason are considered some of the loveliest places in Japan.
Lunch:
Lunch on your own, enjoying some of the tasty beverages and snacks for sale at the beachside concessions. (Please bring local currency.)

On your own transfer to Maehama Beach with English speaking escort. This tour does not include any equipment, towels, lunch or drinks. The tour may be canceled depending on the weather. This is not a Beach Shuttle bus service with fixed time transfer between pier and Maehama Beach. This tour is not considered suitable for guests with walking difficulties. Guests should bring local currency for any purchases. There is no hot water shower available at Maehama Beach. This beach is not suitable for snorkeling as there is no coral reef nor colorful fish.
