Your full day of fun in the sun begins with a short ride along the oceanfront to Mazatlan´s Zona Dorada, or Golden Zone. It´s hard to believe that this glamorous area, home to the most popular beaches and hotels, was a swamp just 50 years ago. Today it has been built up into a major tourist attraction, with all the amenities you can imagine. The Golden Zone reflects Mazatlan´s boom as a tourist destination and is a lively and fun beachfront resort area with enough attractions to entice the entire family.
Upon arrival to Golden Zone you will have 1 hr free for Shopping. Discover the dynamic shopping mecca known as the Golden Zone. Here you´ll find colorful souvenirs stores brimming with trinkets and momentos, upscale boutiques carrying the latest fashions, ice cream shops, cafes and nightclubs. It´s an exciting area, great for people watching and getting a taste of the glamorous life.
After shopping, head to your Beach Resort having ample time to be free to do whatever you please.
You´ll find a swimming pool and one of the most beautiful beach areas in town. Stretch out with a cocktail and a good book on a comfortable lounge chair, swim a few laps in the refreshing pool or splash in the beach.
When you´ve worked up an appetite, stroll over to the Mexican lunch buffet prepared by the resorts chef, where you´ll savor a host of traditional entrees and tantalizing desserts as well as two complimentary beverages.
As the day is drawn to a close, carry your treasures and re-board the transportation for a short but scenic ride back to the ship, having spent a glorious and relaxing day.
Do not forget to bring your own towel.

Your tour is self paced and non-guided. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, hat, and reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen (no other kind of sunscreen is allowed in the water). To avoid sunburn, bring light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Optional water activities are available for a nominal fee. Once participants join their tour, they will be required to complete a liability waiver. The beach may offer certain sport activities, which are not endorsed by Princess Cruises.
