WHAT YOU VISIT
Deer Island Kayak Adventure
From the pier, you and your small group will travel along Mazatlan's ocean front to one of the exclusive Golden Zone resorts, where you'll board a skiff boat to a beautiful sandy beach on Deer Island. Once you arrive, you can enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear waters or stretch out on the sand and soak up the sun. Then, you'll embark on a two-person kayak ride that's ideal for those even with little or no experience. After a short safety orientation, you'll board your kayak and follow your guide along the island's pristine shore where you'll see rocky cliffs and the occasional badger playing on the beach.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
En route to Deer Island, you may be greeted by friendly pelicans and seagulls. Deer Island is an Ecological Reserve refuge for seabirds so pelicans, seagulls and peregrine falcons, may make an appearance as well as frigate birds.
SNACKS
Back at the beach, you'll be treated to sweet Mexican rolls and in-season fruit.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
