WHAT YOU VISIT
El Cid Marina Beach Club
Located on the ocean in the heart of Mazatlán's Golden Zone Marina, is a secluded, waterfront destination designed for total relaxation. Once you arrive, you can spend the day your way: stretch out on a lounger and work on your tan, kick off your shoes and dive into one of two magnificent pools, and swim past the series of cascading waterfalls and through the caves. And when it's time for something cold and fruity, or smooth and refreshing, you can swim up to the bar. If you're in the mood to stroll an endless carpet of golden sand, there's a complimentary water taxi to take you to the beach.
LUNCH
When hunger strikes, you can indulge in a buffet of local favorites like guacamole, fried tortillas, Mexican rice, fried beans, fried potatoes taquitos, beef fajitas, barbeque wings, mixed salads, seasonal fruit and a variety of desserts. The open bar drink menu includes tequila, vodka, beers, XX or Indian Beer, waters, soft drinks, juices and more.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
As the driver makes his way along Malecón, Mexico's longest seaside boulevard, your English speaking guide will point out various points of interest like the monument called the "Monumento al Pescador," a tribute to Mazatlán's history as a fishing town. The scenic 21-kilometer-long (13-mile-long) Malecón is lined with almost a dozen monuments and is the site of Diver's Point where divers perform acrobatic and dangerous plunges into the rocky surf from a 17-meter-high (59-foot-high) ledge.

Bring sunscreen, towels, cap or hat, swimming suit. A short water taxi transfer (included) is necessary to get to the swimming pools area from the beach.
