Travel along nice and clean sightseeing inland roads, you will visit the exceptionally well-maintained major plantation house where Presidents of France and the United States (Bush and Mitterand) met in 1991. The house is nicely decorated with real furniture of past old years. Also, visit the park with its sugar canes and no longer active rum distillery. After your visit, sip some rum or juice and taste a sugar cane. On your return, you will have a splendid view photo point on the road facing the Lamentin bay with its airport and some also of the port of Fort-de-France with your ship there.
