WHAT YOU VISIT
Cézanne Atelier: A Small Group Tour

Your tour takes you through the first floor kitchen, dining room and lounge, each filled with Cézanne's personal belongings and furniture. The 50-square-meter (538-square-feet) second floor is flooded with light and contains his personal studio equipment.

Once the former medieval capital of Provence, it was here that Cézanne was born in 1839. Your informative guide will lead you along the lovely Cours Mirabeau, a grand avenue dotted with magnificent fountains and 200-year-old trees. Further on is the Mazarin Quarter, once the home of writers and artists such as Paul Cézanne. A walk into Old Town takes you along a maze of narrow streets dating back to the Middle Ages to the stunning St. Sauveur Cathedral, built between the 5th and 19th centuries.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
Constructed atop a Roman temple dedicated to Apollo, St. Sauveur Cathedral is a a National Monument of France due to its fascinating architectural mix of Romanesque, Gothic and Neo-Gothic styles, including a 15th-century Gothic portal and remnants of a Roman wall.
