WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
It's interesting to note that your route from the pier follows in the way of some of the Mediterranean's greats empires. Due to its strategic location in the middle of the Mediterranean, Mallorca had been the scene of repeated conquests since 1000 B.C. After Christian forces conquered Mallorca in 1229 the island rose in wealth and power.
