Your tour begins as your board your motorcoach for a scenic 50-minute drive to Mijas, a charming resort divided into two distinct areas - Mijas Costa, a bustling beachfront resort, and Mijas Pueblo, which rates as one of the prettiest villages in Spain. The pueblo is a typical Andalusian village of whitewashed buildings atop the mountainside, offering spectacular views to the Mediterranean below and a scenic backdrop of pine forests.

Upon arrival in Mijas, you'll view the Church of La Inmaculada Concepcion, built in the upper part of the town on top of castle ruins. You'll also see Virgen de la Peña (Virgin of the Rock), patron saint of Mijas, excavated in a rock circa 1682.

After some sightseeing and shopping on your own, you'll board your motorcoach for a drive back to Malaga for a stop at a typical Spanish cafe. Here, you'll sample Malaga Virgen, the famed sweet wine made from local muscatel grapes.

You'll arrive at the Malaga Cathedral. Built between the 16th and 18th centuries on the site of a mosque, the cathedral is known as La Manquita, "the one-armed one," due to its uncompleted second tower. The cathedral is a unique blend of styles, featuring a Baroque facade, a Gothic floor, a superb Renaissance altar and magnificent Baroque choir stalls. After your visit, you'll snap a photo or two of La Malagueta, Malaga's bullring that seats over 15,000 aficionados, built in 1874. You'll also view the El Castillo de Gibralfaro, an old Moorish fortress with stunning views of the city and the Mediterranean.

Your tour concludes with a walk back to your motorcoach, and a relaxing drive back to the pier. With Malaga behind you, you leave with a myriad of unforgettable memories of a lifetime.
