Rainforest Jitney Expedition
This relaxing and educational experience offers the perfect way to explore Costa Rica's lush Caribbean rainforest in a comfortable and sustainable way. Following a transfer to the eco-friendly Rancho Pontevedra ranch, you'll receive a warm welcome at the ranch's operations center, followed by a short but informative safety briefing. Then, you'll have free time to explore on your own before stepping aboard a jitney for a guided tour around the ranch.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
The rainforest is known for howler, spider, and capuchin monkeys, and colorful tropical birds like scarlet macaws and toucans, so have your camera at the ready. As the jitney tours the ranch, you'll stop at a scenic viewpoint that overlooks the nearby banana plantations.
