Your tour begins as you board your motorcoach for a scenic, three-hour drive to the city center.

You'll spend the half-day on your own, exploring all that Paris has to offer. City maps are provided to help you plan out your day.

Why not visit the Arc de Triomphe, the world's largest triumphal arch, and catch a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower was built for the World's Fair in 1889, held in celebration of the French Revolution in 1789. In 1916, the first wireless telephones were tested on the tower. Although meant to last for the duration of the World's Fair, the Eiffel Tower still stands today, despite all protests that this huge 'object' wouldn't fit into the architecture of Paris. Today, the Eiffel Tower is a beloved landmark of Paris and is the symbol of the 'City of Light.'

The Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris is a supreme example of Gothic architecture, boasting a facade divided into three levels. The first level features three portals or main entrances, each adorned with intricately carved figures and biblical scenes. The cathedral's last great rose window, located above the Galerie des Rois, anchors the facade's second level; the cathedral's soaring towers form the third level. Notre Dame's interior, colored by light from the stained glass windows, inspires awe.

If you're an art lover, the Louvre Museum is a "must," as it's the home of the Venus de Milo and the Mona Lisa.

After a full day of exploring the "City of Light," you'll rejoin your motorcoach along the Cours de la Reine for a relaxing drive back to the pier.
