WHAT YOU VISIT
Paris Discovery by Coach and River Cruise
Enjoy a comfortable panoramic view of the streets and historic monuments, followed by a relaxing boat trip on the water. Upon arrival in Paris, a coach drive will travel past some of the city's most famous landmarks, such as the elegant Champs Elysées and the massive Arc de Triomphe. Along the way, your knowledgeable guide will point out many other highlights including the beautiful Place de l'Opera and the famous Pont Neuf, the oldest standing bridge across the river. Next, a leisurely cruise along the Seine glides past some of the architectural wonders such as the Chaillot Palace and Orsay Museum. After your river cruise, you'll reach the Champs-Elysées, where you'll enjoy some free time to purchase lunch and perhaps browse the shops and boutiques.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
Don't forget the camera-this full-day outing will provide you with one jaw-dropping photo opportunity after another, such as the Arc de Triomphe. Standing 50-meters (164-feet) tall, massive landmark was inspired by ancient Roman architecture. Built between 1806 and 1836, it memorializes France's military victories and marks the crossroads of 12 different streets. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier sits right under the middle of the arch with an eternal flame.

LUNCH
Follow the locals to a bakery for freshly-baked croissants or a cafe serving a delicious croque monsieur (grilled French ham and gruyere sandwich).

SHOPPING
While strolling along the Champs-Elysées, browse the many shops in search of the ideal souvenir or gift. Look for artisanal chocolates, gourmet treats like fleur de sel and mustard, designer handbags, and triple-milled French soaps.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Once in your seat, your journey from Le Havre into the City of Lights via the motorway takes you through a landscape of city and country.
