WHAT YOU VISIT
A Day with Claude Money in Giverny
In the town of Giverny sits the home of Claude Monet, the world famous French Impressionist master. From 1883 to the time of his death in 1926, the garden and house served as a source of inspiration reflected in over 250 oil paintings. Outside, delight in a stroll along the iconic lily ponds, footbridge, and winding paths of the immaculately tended, landscaped Water Garden and Flower Garden. Then, step inside the pink house and discover pastel-colored rooms and rustic furniture, as well as the Japanese engravings that Monet himself hung on the colorful walls.

Musée des Impressionnismes
Dedicated to Impressionism and its legacy, the museum sits just steps from Monet's beloved house and garden. Artists such as Claude Monet, Mary Cassatt, Édouard Manet and Pierre-Auguste Renoir are all exhibited here.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
Inside the rustic pink house is a world of color-the yellow dining room and blue kitchen almost rivals the colors of his glorious garden where you'll find the Japanese-inspired water garden and bridge.

LUNCH
Before returning to Le Havre, you'll stop at the charming Grange de Fontenay restaurant for a three-course lunch.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Travel about two hours by motor coach through rural France to Monet's famous garden and farmhouse that are so memorably captured in the works of the master.
