If you live for outdoor adventure and new experiences, then this half-day 4x4 safari is for you. Witness the startling beauty of this volcanic island as you travel to some of the areas not included in the regular tour. Make sure you bring your camera; in addition to rambling along some of the most scenic, roads in the area, you'll have unobstructed views of the perfectly preserved lava fields, and dramatic rock formations.

After climbing aboard your 4x4 vehicle at the pier, your experienced driver-guide will instruct everyone on the rules of the road. And along the way, he'll not only share his knowledge of this amazing land and its history but all the hidden secrets that Lanzarote has to offer.

Departing from the quayside, you'll venture towards the outer edges of Timanfaya National Park, a spectacular expanse of dead volcanoes, craters and canyons formed by eruptions over 300 years ago , than you'll travel inland to the Visitors' Centre, your first stop. Here, you'll gain insight into Lanzarote's volcanic origins through engaging exhibits and displays. As you look around, you'll be astounded by the intriguing shapes of molten lava spread out over the barren miles. Due to the island's dry climate, what you see is exactly the way it looked after the eruptions devastated the island from 1730 to 1736.

Next, you'll continue towards Bodega Suárez, located in the heart of the La Geria wine region. Declared a Protected Area, La Geria is Lanzarote's primary wine-producing region. At the bodega, you'll have the chance to sample one of their wines.

Finally, you'll visit the Monumento al Campesino, a cultural site celebrating Lanzarote's rural heritage. Here, you'll discover traditional island architecture, agricultural tools, and artisan workshops that showcase the ingenuity and resilience of the island's farming communities.

Climb back aboard your 4x4 and travel back to the quayside and your awaiting ship.
