Spend your afternoon traveling to Bangkok and visit the "off-the-beaten-track" temples located within. They are of rare beauty but still serve as much religious purpose as any other ones. Upon arrival at Wat Pariwat Ratchasongkram or Pariwat temple, you will be surprised with its unique architectural style. The ordination hall has Thai porcelain bits and pieces on stucco sculptures and walls with characteristic of international contemporary art ranging from pharaoh, samurai, or even batman.
Later we will drive you into the inner part of the city and you will arrive at the Yannawa temple, commonly known as the "the boat temple". As soon as you enter, you will be amazed with the temple's hall, built in the shape of a huge Chinese junk. Additional exterior architectural style of other buildings will also impress you with its beauty. Worth noticing is also the nearby 'deserted' gigantic building (more than 60 floors), which has never been completed and utilized.
Next you will relish with a ride on the Thai's national motorized tricycle, tuk tuk, for a short distance to the local pier. At the River City pier, you will board the magnificent cruise liner and have a wonderful dinner cruise along the Chao Phraya river. Taste the scrumptious Thai & International buffet meal while voyaging and see the city becomes illuminated while passing by many important establishments, local temples, and etc. Upon returning to the same local pier, we will transfer you back to the Port.
