Moderate Activity
Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.
Spend your night relaxing at one of the leading hotels in Bangkok while witnessing the city becomes illuminated. After a transfer into the town, you will get to visit the landmark of the city at the Emerald Buddha temple & the Grand Palace. Here you will learn how the temple has become the center of the nation together with one of the most precious Buddha images there are in the country, which is made from green Jasper. In addition, the annex beautiful Royal Palace used to be the residence of our previous Kings & Queens in the past. Later you will have a breezy boat ride along Chao Phraya river and see the local lifestyles along both banks including passing by many important local temples and establishments. Then enjoy an international or Thai lunch at a local restaurant. A chance to do some shopping at a local reputable store before your transfer to check in at your hotel and enjoy your time at leisure. A buffet dinner will be available at the restaurant inside your hotel of stay. Night time at your own leisure can be had at the Asiatique Riverfront Shopping Arcade, which is located within walking distance of your hotel of stay, if it is Ramada Plaza Riverside by Wyndham.
DAY 2
After checking out, have your breakfast and start a 2-hour journey into the countryside of Thailand. First you will board the motorized boat and start a cruise along the manmade canal of Damnoernsaduak. After half an hour ride along the canal where you will witness various local lifestyles, you will get off at the famous local pier, where hundreds of boat merchants sell their produces and products. Enjoy your spare time at this renowned floating market before another short drive to a nearby 'unseen' local market of the country, 'Talad Rom Hoop'. Unusual food market on a railway track with vendors moving goods & retracting awnings as trains run. Here sellers place their goods including fruits and vegetables on the ground by the side of the railway track. At a certain time of the day, if being lucky, it is possible that you will see the incoming train passing by after these traders move their umbrellas and shady extension and before everything goes back to normal again.
A transfer to your local restaurant for lunch and a final transfer to the port for your embarkation.
