Horseback Riding to the Beach

From port you'll enjoy a scenic motorcoach ride to a local farm and horse ranch. Situated in a peaceful area north of Kusadasi, this is a lovely opportunity to see the quiet rural side of Turkey from a whole new vantage point. Suitable for all ages and skill levels, your half-day adventure is a fun-filled way to spend time with the family.
Begin with comprehensive instruction on the basics of horse riding followed by a visit to the paddock to ensure that you feel comfortable and confident. Once you're seated in the saddle with your helmet securely fastened, your horse will do the rest, following a well-traveled route.
The pretty trail is surrounded by cotton fields, pine trees and indigenous flora and fauna and passes through authentic Turkish village life. After an approximately 40-minute ride, you will arrive at the lovely beach at Pamucak, where in the middle of the beach the river, Kucuk Menderes, meets the sea. At the beach you have the opportunity to swim and relax before returning on horseback to the stables. Don't forget to wear your swimsuit under your clothes.
At the conclusion of your experience, reboard the motorcoach to return to Kusadasi, where there will be some refreshments and a brief carpet presentation. Carpet weaving is a cottage industry in Turkey, and here you can observe the different stages of the carpet making process.
A pleasant stroll back to the ship completes this day of sunny memories.

Comfortable clothing, closed toe footwear and a hat are recommended. Swimsuit and a towel required for swimming option. Weight limit is 220 pounds or 100 kilos. Guests will not ride the horses in the water or on the beach.
At the end of the tour, passengers have the option to remain in town to view a carpet demonstration or to shop in the bazaar; return to the ship would be on your own (10 to 15 minutes walking).
Medical Restriction
Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair, those with mobility limitations, or those with vision impairments. Pregnant women are not allowed to participate. Weight limit 220 pounds or 100 Kilos.
