A motorcoach tour from the port of Kusadasi travels through the picturesque countryside, dotted with vineyards, olive orchards, peach trees and cotton plantations, passing Ephesus en route to the statue of The Virgin Mary. From here you will view the upper gate of Ancient Ephesus. Take a scenic drive around the town of Selcuk and view its rich history.
Your next stop is the famed Ephesus Museum, home to some of the most extraordinary antiquities in the world. Unlike a traditional museum, the artifacts are not displayed in chronological order but rather in a series of themed rooms and courtyards. There is much variation in the collection and the famous statue of Artemis, Goddess of Fertility, is housed within its walls.
You'll have a moment to relax in your motorcoach before arriving at your next stop, a traditional weaving village, where local artisans demonstrate the process of dying, spinning and weaving splendid Turkish carpets.
Upon return to the port of Kusadasi, you have the option of browsing the colorful markets and bazaars and walking the short distance back to the ship at your leisure, or taking the motorcoach directly to port.
