WHAT YOU VISIT
Kristiansand Sea Fishing Adventure
This fishing adventure takes you to Southern Norway's clean and clear coastal waters teeming with an epic array of fish species in all sizes and colors. The tour is customized for any interest and skill level with just four guests per boat (small angler numbers are organized to ensure everyone has an opportunity for the best individual fishing experience possible). A short walk from the ship's dock takes you to the departure point of your fishing boat where a safety introduction and all necessary equipment will be provided. Your guide will also share fishing tips and techniques and you'll learn how to use the fish finders and electronic maps in the boat to seek out the fish. Once you're all geared up, you'll board the boat, glide into a breathtaking landscape and soon, you'll be in pursuit of pollack, coalfish, cod, mackerel, wrasse, whiting, poor cod and gurnard. If you meet with success and catch "the big one," keep in mind that this tour is conducted on a catch-and-release basis.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
Have your camera ready if you catch a cod, which can weigh up to 100 pounds and grow as long as 140 centimeters (39.4-55.1 inches)!
SNACKS
During a stop at the island of Oskoy, you can relax and refresh with Norwegian lefser, a traditional flatbread made with potatoes; coffee, decaf coffee, hot chocolate, herbal tea, juice or water.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Admire the serene scenery as your boat scurries across the water in search of the perfect fishing spot.
