Kona Joe Coffee Tour and Roasting Experience
The Big Island's high elevation, distinct climate and rich volcanic soil creates an ideal environment for harvesting the unique Kona coffee bean. Kona Joe's patented growing process utilizes trellises, similar to the way the world's best winemakers grow their grapes. On a guided walk, learn the process from bean to cup, then on a small drum roaster, your guide will help you control the time, temperature, drum speed, and airflow as you roast 10 ounces of coffee to take home. Sample different coffees and delectable chocolates, included with this wonderful and delicious experience.

What you will see along the way:
A 30-minute transfer from the pier delivers you to the lush, tropical realm of Kona Joe Coffee, a farm set on a hilltop with a 270-degree view of the Kona coast. The folks at Kona Joe are not only coffee growers but also ambassadors, eager to show you some of the secrets and all of the pleasures of producing and enjoying great coffee.

Tasting:
No visit to Kona Joe's would be complete without a tasting of its superb and richly aromatic coffees accompanied by a delectable selection of the farm's almost equally famous chocolate delights.
