まずは高知県立牧野植物園を訪問します。地元の植物学者で日本の植物分類学の父と呼ばれる牧野富太郎の植物コレクションをご覧ください。触ったり匂いをかいだりして楽しめるふれあいの庭や、温室など、四季を通してお楽しみいただけます。次に徒歩で724年に開創された四国霊場第三十一番札所の竹林寺へ向かいます。寺域の自然や国重要文化財に指定されている本堂や弘法大師を祀る大師堂などを見学できます。続いて、名物の鰹のたたき作りを体験しましょう。ご自身で鰹をわら焼きの炎で炙ります。出来立ての鰹のタタキを御賞味ください。最後に絶景・桂浜の写真ストップのあと、港に戻ります。
