What you will visit:
Opaeka'a Falls
Nestled on Kauai's lush east side, Opaeka'a Falls is a breathtaking 151-foot waterfall cascading into the verdant Wailua River Valley. This iconic natural wonder is easily accessible and viewable from a designated roadside lookout-no hiking required.
Spouting Horn Blowhole
Located on Kauai's south shore, Spouting Horn is one of the island's most photographed attractions. Here, the Poipu surf surges into a natural lava tube, erupting into a spectacular geyser. According to local legend, the roaring sound that echoes above the waves comes from a mythical lizard, or "moo," trapped within the tube.
Poipu Beach
Poipu Beach, also on the south shore, has been celebrated as one of America's Best Beaches by the Travel Channel. Whether you're snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, swimming alongside vibrant marine life, or relaxing on its sun-drenched golden sands, Poipu Beach promises a slice of paradise. Please note: Poipu Beach is a sanctuary for endangered sea turtles and monk seals. It is illegal to touch or approach these animals closely. Guests are encouraged to enjoy their presence responsibly, capturing memories from a safe distance with phones or cameras.
What you will see along the way:
As you travel through Kauai's east and south sides, the island's diverse landscapes unfold before your eyes. On the east side, often called the Coconut Coast, you'll see groves of swaying coconut palms lining the coastline, set against the sparkling blue of the Pacific Ocean. Towering cliffs and lush, green valleys give way to scenic beaches, offering glimpses of small villages and charming local life. Heading south, the terrain transforms into a tapestry of golden hills, sprawling sugarcane fields, and red earth. The south shore is famous for its sunny skies and drier climate, creating a dramatic contrast to the lush greenery of the east. Along the way, you'll drive through the iconic Tree Tunnel, where century-old Norfolk pines arch overhead, creating a magical, shaded passageway.
Schedule
Special Notes
