Grab your culinary passport for a day-long excursion that begins with a visit to the Island Beehive to sample some of the pure Ligurian honey and taste the famous honeyed ice-cream. Visit the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, where you'll learn about the eucalyptus oil distilling process and get to enjoy a local award winning Kangaroo Island Cider. Travel to Emu Bay Lavender Farm for a light lunch and to sample lavender scones. If that's not enough then venture on to a local Cellar Door to sample Kangaroo Island Wines. During the day you also experience the stunning views from Pennington Bay and Penneshaw lookout along with Pelican Lagoon where kangaroos are often seen lazing in the paddocks.
