港からバスに乗り、フェリーに乗り換え、桜島の有村溶岩展望所を訪れます。クレーターと溶岩原の景色をお楽しみください。次は、1658年に薩摩藩の大名・島津光久の命令によって造園された仙巌園を訪問します。島津家は封建時代から1868年の明治維新まで鹿児島と薩摩半島を支配した氏族です。桜島と鹿児島湾を背景にした仙巌園は、春には桜が咲き乱れ、様々な植物や木々、小さな池、小川、神社、竹林が趣のある風景をつくっています。すばらしい鹿児島の風景の数々を鑑賞した後はバスで港に戻ります。

Get up close and personal with Japan's feudal history. This half-day tour takes you to Arimura Lava Observatory for sweeping views of Sakurajima (weather permitting), one of Japan's most active volcanoes. Next, you'll drive to Iso Garden (Sengan-en) constructed in 1658 by Daimyo Shimazu Mitsuhisa, the feudal clan that controlled Kagoshima and the Satsuma-hanto Peninsula from the Feudal Era to the Meiji Restoration of 1868. With Sakurajima and Kagoshima Bay as its backdrop (weather permitting), Sengan-en (Iso Garden) boasts cherry blossoms in the spring, and a variety of plants and trees that make for an interesting landscape, as well as small ponds, streams, shrines and a bamboo grove. Your tour concludes with a relaxing drive back to the pier.
