In the distance, the striking Mendenhall Glacier rises in brilliant blue and white, framed by rugged mountain terrain. Before departure, you'll receive a full safety briefing and be outfitted in high-quality gear, including a drysuit, USCG-certified swift water rescue life vest, neoprene gloves, and boots, with thermal layers available for added comfort. From there, set off on an unforgettable exploration through one of Alaska's richest marine environments, where every direction reveals breathtaking scenery and the potential for incredible wildlife encounters.
What you will see along the way:
From the moment you leave Juneau by van, the scenery unfolds with dramatic coastal views, dense rainforest, and glacier-fed waterways. As you travel toward Auke Bay, towering mountains rise from the shoreline, and you may spot bald eagles perched high above while wildlife moves through the forest. From your jet ski vantage point, the landscape opens into the vast, pristine expanse of Alaska's Inside Passage, where snow-capped peaks frame every direction and the horizon feels endless. In the distance, the striking Mendenhall Glacier glows against rugged alpine terrain. These nutrient-rich waters are home to humpback whales, pods of orca, and porpoises that may come into view. Along the shoreline, Steller sea lions gather on rocky outcroppings, and bears are sometimes seen moving at the forest's edge while bald eagles soar overhead.
