You'll board an air-conditioned motorcoach for the approximately two-hour scenic drive to Ho Chi Minh City.
En route to your drop-off point at the City Centre, receive a brief introduction to the city. You'll drive by the former U.S. Embassy, Reunification Hall, Botanical and Zoological Gardens, Notre Dame Cathedral, French Colonial Post Office and Ho Chi Minh Park.
At the City Centre, your guide will provide you with your time of departure for the port, and then you are free to explore the city on your own. Visit the colorful markets, take a stroll through the Botanical Gardens, or simply people-watch at a sidewalk café. A tour representative will be stationed at the City Centre drop off point in case you need assistance in any way.

The drive from Phu My to Ho Chi Minh City is approximately one and half hours each way and includes a comfort stop. Due to the highway upgrade construction, the transfer time may vary and could be longer than what is stated in the Approximate Duration. The Notre Dame Cathedral is currently undergoing extensive renovations. As a result, tours that feature this landmark will include an exterior photo stop in the front green area only. Please note that portions of the cathedral may be covered due to ongoing restoration work.
