Cu Chi Tunnels & Countryside
Moderate Activity

Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.
Your excursion begins at the pier where you'll board your air-conditioned motorcoach for the approximately three-hour drive to the Cu Chi District. You'll see a demonstration of the process of making Vietnamese rice paper at the tunnels.
Upon arrival at the Cu Chi Tunnels, a local guide will escort you underground for a brief visit. Tour a section of the massive system of tunnels that once provided safe haven and a base of operations for communist forces. The Viet Cong excavated more than 124 miles of underground tunnels, which form a vast subterranean complex. The tons of soil from the excavation were so well scattered that some entrances to the complex were never found. Your tour of the tunnels is followed by an opportunity for souvenir shopping and a video on the tunnels with commentary on the war.
Afterwards, enjoy a sit-down lunch at a local restaurant before embarking on your return route back to the pier and your cruise ship.
