Rainbow Falls
Follow the Wailuku River to Rainbow Falls, an iconic waterfall featuring an 80-foot-tall cascade surrounded by tropical flora. Look for the rainbow effect produced by the spray that gives the waterfall its name.

Lili House Family Farm
Enjoy a visit to this charming family-owned farm, where you'll learn about local agriculture and meet some of the farm's friendly animal residents. Guests will have the opportunity to interact with and even pet a few of the animals while exploring the property.

Ka'u Coffee Mill
Discover one of Hawai'i's premier coffee-growing regions during a visit to Ka'u Coffee Mill. Learn about the cultivation, harvesting and roasting processes that produce some of the world's richest coffees, and sample a selection of locally grown varieties.

Punalu'u Black Sand Beach
Lined with swaying coconut palm trees, Punalu'u is one of the best black-sand beaches on the island. Stroll along the shoreline and look for honu (green Hawaiian sea turtles) feeding just offshore or sun-worshipping on the sand.

The landscape of the Big Island ranges from black-sand beaches to tropical rainforests to the alpine terrain of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea. At 13,796 feet above sea level, the summit of Mauna Kea is the highest point in the entire Pacific basin.
