Prepare for an exhilarating day as you visit Volcanoes National Park by e-bike. Your guide will share the area's rich history as you witness a breathtaking shift in scenery from the ocean beaches to 4000 feet (1219 meters) above sea level at the park as you ascend the volcano. You'll be introduced to your high-tech fat tire e-bike by our expert team, who will guide you through its operation and safety features. Effortlessly glide through park roads and trails, covering miles with ease, thanks to the bike's cutting-edge design and fat tires that make navigating the park roads a breeze. Adjust your ride from full-on peddle, to partial assist, or total leisure mode where the e-bike does all the work. We'll make stops along the way at the Visitors Center, Kilauea Military Camp, and Kilauea Overlook for a view of the steaming or sometimes erupting volcano caldera. At the Volcano House Hotel, you'll enjoy another perspective of the volcano caldera, steam vents, and a chance to take in the surroundings. We'll also explore the Thurston lava tube during one of our stops. Afterward, return to your awaiting vehicle for the journey back to Hilo.

Special Notes
Participants must be at least 15 years of age, weigh no more than 350 lbs. and have a minimum height of 5 ft. An adult must accompany children under 18 years of age. Guests must be able to ride a bike at an intermediate level. There are approximately 25 steps at the Thurston Lava Tube. Tour itinerary may change due to weather or park closures.
What to bring: Close toed shoes, layered clothing, rain jacket (available for purchase)
