Vintage Train Ride & Porvoo Old Town
A fun and romantic way to travel to this 14th century city is by vintage train. Your adventure begins when you board your coach at the pier and travel to the station where your private vintage train awaits. The train, a reminder of Finland's golden age of railcars from the 1960s, has been renovated and is ready to transport you on nostalgic trip through the beautiful Finnish countryside. Sit back and relax as forests and fields, and views of the river pass by your window. Once in Porvoo, you'll step back in time. Founded in 1346, many areas of the town have been left untouched by the passage of centuries. Stroll its narrow lanes, view its historic buildings and visit its central square on a walking tour of the city's historic old quarter. Afterwards you'll have free time to walk around, and visit one of the many cozy small cafes, and small handicraft shops.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES
Senate Square, located in the oldest part of Helsinki, makes an ideal photo stop. The landmarks and famous buildings that surround the square are the Helsinki Cathedral, the Government Palace, main building of the University of Helsinki, and Sederholm House, the oldest building of central Helsinki dating back to 1757.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
On your way back from Porvoo, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Helsinki with a drive along Mannerheim Street passing the Parliament House, Contemporary Art Museum and Finlandia Hall, Oodi Library and others before arriving to your waiting ship.
