Meet your guide and driver and depart from the pier towards Nuuksio forests in Espoo.
Nuuksio Park is relatively close to Helsinki but far away from the crowdedness of the city. The park is known for its lush forests, gorges and numerous nature trails. The park is a haven for many endangered animals and plants with plenty of space for all, and the dense forests will offer the perfect setting for anyone who wants to connect with nature.
Dive into Finnish nature with a professional guide who takes you on trails along easy forest trail. You'll learn more about the surrounding environment, Nuuksio's history and ever-changing cycle of nature. Along the way you'll see the best viewing points and a variety of different nature types.
The walk will end at the campfire home base where you will get to taste some delicious traditional Finnish pancakes, or as we Finns call them "lettu", "lätty", "plätty", "räiskäle" or "ohukainen", as the Finnish saying goes " a beloved child has many names". The pancakes are cooked the traditional way on an open fire using only the few best ingredients.
Enjoy the modest yet glorious taste of Finnish pancakes crowned with sweet jam. Traditional kettle coffee/tea with necessary condiments is naturally also served.
You will also have time to visit the Nature Centre's souvenir shop and browse around. A return drive will take you back to your awaiting ship.
