Akrafjord
Beautiful Åkrafjord is 32 kilometers long and 650 meters at its deepest. Flanked by steep mountains, Akrafjord passes so close to Langfoss Waterfall you can almost feel the refreshing spray.

What you will see along the way:
A scenic city drive through vibrant Haugensund offers glimpses of its famed City Hall, voted the most beautiful in Norway, and continues from the city center, past charming residential areas and into the sprawling countryside.

Langfoss Waterfall
Cascading down a jagged mountainside cliff and plunging 612 meters (2,008 feet) into Åkrafjord, Langfoss (pronounced and translated to "Long Falls") was voted by CNN as one of the 10 most beautiful waterfalls in the world. In the summer, emerald green vegetation provides a visually arresting contrast to the frothy white waters and charcoal rocks. The water from Langfoss is said to have therapeutic properties, boosting energy and even making people more fertile.
