Your tour begins as you board your van for a short drive to the Takshanuk, "land of falling waters," trailhead. Here, you'll learn how to operate a Kawasaki "Mule," an automatic-transmission, four-wheel-drive vehicle. Equipped with seat belts and designed to be easily accessible, they allow all ages and abilities to experience the thrill of the wilderness.

Crystal waterfalls and creeks greet you on your way to meadows at the 1,500-foot elevation. Spectacular views of mountains and forests abound, including a panoramic view of the Lynn Canal and Chilkoot Lake.

On the way down, you'll stop at an exclusive mountaintop lodge to enjoy a warm fire and a fish and chicken lunch and freshly baked cookies. After descending the rest of the trail, you'll board your motorcoach for a scenic ride along Lutak Inlet back to the pier.
