Located within the historic Fort Seward district, Port Chilkoot Distillery, southeastern Alaska's first distillery, is renowned for award-winning spirits and local ambiance. On this interactive, two-hour adventure, you'll learn the history of the local distillery, visit the beautiful production space and barrel room, try a tour-exclusive sample of whiskey straight from the barrel, and end at the tasting room to enjoy a flight of the spirits or handcrafted cocktails. Port Chilkoot Distillery has a quintessential Alaskan story-one of trailblazing, determination, creativity, and community-and serves up the perfect opportunity to learn about the art and science that goes into creating small-batch, handcrafted spirits.

No need for a designated driver, it's just a quick two-block walk from the cruise ship dock. For those interested in exploring the historic Fort Seward district, your tour guide will point you in the right direction to find a host of landmarks that commemorate when the area served as a seat of military power during World War II.

Tastings Session:
While touring the distillation facility, you'll have the opportunity to taste the signature Wrack Line Rye whiskey right from the barrel before proceeding to the tasting room, where you'll receive personalized attention from the bartenders and enjoy either a cocktail or flight of five tasting samples. Additionally, guests have the option to purchase out of pocket one additional drink before or after the tour. Choose your favorite, then visit the gift store to purchase it at a 10% discount. A complimentary souvenir shot glass completes the experience.
