What you will visit:

Panoramic West Bay Peninsula Drive
The largest of the three islands that comprise the Cayman Islands, Grand Cayman, is home to lush tropical forests, traditional homes, and spectacular beaches that captivate all those who grace its shore. Take in famous Seven Mile Beach and such landmarks as the Governor's Residence and the Old Homestead, a true Caribbean gingerbread house built in 1912, considered the most photographed house in Grand Cayman.

Hell
No one knows how the town got its name, but it could be from the various limestone formations rising out of the ground. Short spikes of eerie black rocks look like lava in the aftermath of a volcano, which you can marvel at from a viewing platform. You'll learn a few possible explanations for how this fascinating place earned its unflattering name. Be sure to stop by the fire-engine-red, hell-themed post office so you can send everyone back home a "postcard from Hell."

Beach Break
Spend two hours enjoying the powder-white sands and turquoise waters of one of Grand Cayman's best beaches. Water shoes and sun protection are advised.

What you will see along the way:
On the comprehensive drive along the West Bay Peninsula, your guide will offer history of the Cayman Islands while pointing out the landmark sights; spectacular, sun-splashed Seven Mile Beach; and gleaming hotels and resorts. Then drive inland to the small enclave known as Hell, which surprises visitors with its craggy limestone formations. The West Bay area is noted for good birdwatching, so keep an eye out for some fine-feathered friends.

Photo Opportunity:
A brief stop outside the official Governor's Residence, built in 1964, allows you to take photos from the motorcoach of this stately manor.
